The Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) invites you to attend the August 10, 2024 in person event From the Cradle to the Grave and Everything in Between at the Caldwell Civic and Visitor Center. You do not have to be a TCGS member or of Czech heritage to attend. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday, August 10, 2024 - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (registration begins at 8:00 AM), Caldwell Civic Center,103 W. Texas Highway 21, Caldwell, TX 77836.

The following speakers will make presentations: Tommy Ryan and Patsy Simek - Orphan Train Riders to Burleson County; Dreanna Belden - The Portal to Texas History; A Powerful Tool for History and Genealogy; Ken Wiltz - History of the Funeral Industry and Changes to Come and Henry Mayo – Searching Texas Land Records, the History of Brazos and Caldwell Counties in Texas.

Registration includes kolache and coffee or juice and a catered lunch, silent auction and sales tables with our newest 2024 Christmas Ornaments.

To register by credit card go to: https://txczgs.square.site or mail registration form (see enclosed form or on the TCGS website at www.txczgs.org) and mail check made out to TCGS to Susan Crutchfield, 507 West St., Sealy, Tx 77474. If postmarked on/before July 26, 2024 TCGS members $40.00 and non-TCGS members $45.00; if post-marked after July 26, 2024 TCGS members $45.00 and non-TCGS members $50.00; and at the door (All) - $60.00. The Texas Czech Genealogical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The TCGS most recent book, Czech Churches is available for purchase (see attached flyer). The contents of the Czech Churches book include 451 pages with 47 index pages and 59 articles, including photographs on the History of Texas Czech Churches; The History of the Czech-Moravian Brethren, Czech Lands to Texas; The Catholic Church and the Czechs in Texas and Experiences of the Early Czech Protestants in Texas.
